Perfectly Baked Kale Chips

I feel like there are still some negative preconceived notions when it comes to good ol’ kale.  I do enjoy when people speak of this leafy vegetable in a way that you would believe it has super mysterious powers.   Kale is, however, not so mysterious. Kale is not only delicious, it is dense with nutrients such as calcium and vitamin K, it is affordable and also very easy to cook.  I, for one, do love to eat kale in various ways, but baked kale chips are definitely my favorite. My recipe is my favorite way of preparing the chips, but feel free to spice up your kale chips however you would like. Enjoy!

* Ingredients:

– 1 bunch kale

– 1 Tbsp. Olive oil

– 1 tsp. seasoned salt 
– 1 tsp. garlic powder

– 1/2 tsp. minced onion

– 1 tsp. cayenne pepper

* Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a baking pan with olive oil or line the pan with parchment paper

2. Remove the leaves from the stems and tear into bite size pieces, then wash and thoroughly dry the kale

 3. No a bowl, drizzle the olive oil over the kale and toss in the seasonings; mix until all of the leaves are well-coated

 4. Lay the kale out onto the pan and bake until all of the edges are brown, not burnt, 10-15 minute
