How to Make Lime Sea Salt

Citrus is a great addition to any dish, adding a refreshing pop of zest for your taste buds. So when considering adding salt to your next meal, try substituting regular sea salt for this great lime sea salt recipe.  So simple and tasty, it makes the perfect seasoning for meat, poultry, and seafood.

*What You Will Need:

  • 3 limes, zested
  • 1 cup of coarse sea salt
  • the juice of 2 limes


  1. Zest all 3 limes into the sea salt
  2. Squeeze the juice of 2 limes into the salt and mix the salt well
  3. Heat an oven to 200 degrees and lay the salt on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet
  4. Cook for 20-30 minutes, until the salt is dried, but not burnt or browned
  5. Store in air-tight containers
